Project Down-Ballot (2019 and 2020)
Through Project Down-Ballot, the NCEC also supported progressive candidates in state legislative races. In 2018 we helped Democrats flip more than 400 state legislative districts and defeat seven Republican governors. Yet there is still so much to do. To continue this effort, we provided data and analysis for the 2019 and 2020 elections to candidates running in State Senate Districts (SD), State House Districts (HD) and local elections across the country:
